As the Church of Pentecost is still in the month of September, themed, “Bonded for Life”, it has dedicated today’s service in honour of families. This service took place in the church’s auditorium this Sunday, 29th September, 2019.
Speaking on theme, “The family as a household of God”, Apostle Dr. Emmanuel Anim- Associate Minister reflected on scripture from Ephesians 5:21-22.
He made known to the children of God that the family is an institution and organism. He also advised parent’s to speak words that affirm rather than words that bring down the morale of their children. Further on, he cautioned parent’s to guide their children in the use of social media, since a lot of evil is taking place on such platforms. In his final words to the church on Family Day, he urged parent’s to befriend their children, so as to create an atmosphere of confidentiality.
Today marks the last Sunday of the month of September, themed, “Bonded For Life”.
