Mrs Angela Peasah a deaconess at Pentecost International Worship Center, PIWC-Atomic, has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of Unilever Ghana effective 9th February 2017. She is currently the Director of Public Accounts at the Controller and Accountant General’s Department (CAGD).
Unilever Ghana was established in 1992 through the merger of UAC Ghana and Lever Brothers and is listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange. Over 5 million households in Ghana enjoy its brands every day. Unilever indirectly employs some 2,000 people in supply, marketing and distribution as well as the 400 staff who work in its Headquarters and Tema factory. It produces some of the leading home and personal care products on the Ghanaian market in the area of health, nutrition and wellness with iconic brands such as Blue Band Margarine, Lipton Tea, Key Soap, Omo Washing Powder and Pepsodent Toothpaste together with household brand names like Lux, Geisha, Rexona and Annapurna.
Mrs Peasah is a chartered accountant by profession and was admitted into the membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ghana) in 1995. She holds an Executive MBA from the University of Ghana Business School, She is also a product of the Institute of Professional Studies (IPS) and St Roses Secondary School.
She has extensive experience in auditing, financial reviews and monitoring of varied organizations in Ghana. She has managed many audit jobs including World Bank and ADF funded projects, mining, insurance and commercial organizations.
Mrs. Peasah is a Presbyter and active member of PIWC-Atomic. She is part of the following committees; Bible Study Committee, Marriage Committee and Finance Committee. She is also an energetic member of Precious Pearls, Womens’ Ministry, and Evangelism Ministry of PIWC-Atomic. A lot of young couples in the church have been blessed with wise counsel from her and her husband. She is a lover of music and dances well too. She does not play with her prayer life at all. She is married to Elder Kofi Peasah and they have three lovely children.
